This tongue ring is great for a newly pierced tongue because the hemispheres on either end allow more room in your mouth so the piece will interfere with your ability to speak far less than a regular tongue ring. The bar is available in a large variety of lengths all the way from 6mm to standard 10mm tongue ring size to extra large 22mm size. The 14 gauge straight barbell as well as the two black hemispheres on either end are made of high quality black surgical stainless steel, so your body jewelry will neither scratch nor fade nor break.
