I got this for my PA piercing. I will say this, on the table it snaps together fine but after my piercing it took 30 min. to get that dam ball snapped in. It caused more pain and grief than it was worth. I guess if you are already pierced it would be fine but for your first one get a regular captured ball and a pair of ring pliers.
